Kony Brooks - Divine Right Mixtape Review

From start to finish Kony’s “Divine Right” comes at you with passion and lyricism that is reminiscent of that late 80s through 90s Hip-Hop we are nostalgic of. His gritty lyrics and metaphors only make the listeners more aware of the struggle that he has coped with. Working with some other up and coming artists from NY gives this album a sense of home field advantage and makes us proud that there is still hope for the next generation of Hip-Hop. One thing for sure is Kony is someone to watch! Might as well listen to his music now because he will FOR SURE be on top soon.
